No Bread For Lunches? - Easy Homemade Wraps PLUS Brauer Giveaway

Have you just gone to the freezer to check if you had some back up bread to make sandwiches for lunch and found that you don't have any? Well never fear I'm going to show you how easy it is to make your own wraps.

Wraps are a great alternative to sandwiches, you can fill them with your families favourite ingredients but instead of "sandwiching" the ingredients together you are going to wrap them up.

I first made these wraps as part of my entry in the Gourmet Garden Blog Off/Cook Off in Noosa in May and they received top reviews, now you can make them too.

INGREDIENTS

2 Cups Plain Flour

1 Tsp Baking Powder

1 Tsp Salt

1 Cup Water

1 Tbs Olive Oil

LET'S PUT IT ALTOGETHER 

1. Place all ingredients into a large bowl and mix together with a knife to form a smooth ball.

2. Divide the mix into 4. Roll each ball out until it is 1mm thin.

3. Place into a hot lightly oil flat frypan and cook until its starts to lightly brown on one side and then flip. If any air bubbles form just prick them with a fork.

Fill with your favourite fillings and wrap. Wrap with cling wrap, cut in half and place in the lunchbox and your ready to go.

These can also be used as a soft shell tortilla, as I did here with my Fish Tacos

They can also be used to to scoop up dips such as Hommus, just rip a bit off and dip away.

They are versatile, quick and easy to make and cheap as well which is a win win for me as is this little giveaway I have for you.
